Want a smart lock on the door?
Keypad, app, or a deadbolt that replaced the thumbturn. Installation is fitting that hardware to a residential door — not a security-system sale, and not a promise that every box from a marketplace listing will line up with your bore.
Bring the lock, or talk first
If you already have a smart lock in the box, say the brand and that you want it installed. If you have not bought one, say that too. Door thickness, backset, and whether you still want a mechanical key override all matter. We will not pretend every electronic lock is a drop-in.
What this is not
Not cameras, not alarms, not commercial access control. A smart deadbolt on a house or apartment door is the job. Wi-Fi and app setup still belong to you and the manufacturer’s instructions; we are here for the mechanical install and a working keyed backup when the product includes one.
If you also need a rekey
New smart hardware often means new keys for the mechanical cylinder. That is part of the conversation, not a surprise add-on sprung at the door.

Often, if it fits the door. Send a photo of the current deadbolt and the box if you can, plus the city.

Expect to finish Wi-Fi and accounts yourself. We focus on the lock on the door working the way the hardware is supposed to.
