Jeep keys in the real world

Wrangler culture loves a physical key; the vehicle on your driveway may still be a fob truck. Grand Cherokee questions are often smart-key. We will not publish immobilizer bypass notes for either.

The one-key Wrangler problem

If the Wrangler still starts, make the spare before the next trip. If nothing starts the Grand Cherokee, all keys lost — same proof-of-ownership rule as any other car.

Push-button Jeeps

Grand Cherokee owners should usually mention push-button. Wrangler owners should not assume they are exempt — later years exist. Say what you actually do to start it.
